10 Top Homeopathic Remedies For Menopausal Symptoms
Updated: Aug 18

Many women experience menopause differently. Hot flushes, night sweats, anxiety, low mood, and poor sleep can leave you feeling unlike yourself. Homeopathy may be able to address your symptoms in a gentle, personalised way.
Homeopathy aims to support you as a person rather than treating one symptom in isolation. Because menopause symptoms often overlap, two women with hot flushes may need completely different remedies depending on their emotional and physical symptom patterns.

What does the research say about homeopathy and menopause?
Research into homeopathy and menopausal symptoms is ongoing. Some studies have reported improvements in menopausal symptoms among women receiving homeopathic treatment.
How remedies are chosen
The right homeopathic remedy looks at more than just your main symptom. Two women experiencing hot flushes, poor sleep or anxiety may have very different overall symptom patterns.

Not sure which remedy pattern sounds most like you?
Many menopause symptoms overlap, which can make it difficult to know which remedy picture fits best.
My Menopause Wellness Quiz can help you better understand your symptom patterns and the different ways menopause can affect emotional and physical wellbeing.
Menopause symptoms often overlap
Many women notice that symptoms such as anxiety, poor sleep, hot flushes, mood swings, fatigue, and hormonal headaches can appear together rather than separately.
Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect sleep, emotional wellbeing, stress response, and temperature regulation all at once.
This is why treatment often focuses on your overall symptom pattern rather than just one symptom alone.

How do I know which homeopathic remedy is right for me?
The remedies above each have their own characteristic picture, but menopause symptoms rarely occur in isolation. You may recognise parts of several different remedy pictures, which is why choosing a remedy isn't always straightforward.
In my consultations, I take time to look at your symptoms as a whole, including the physical and emotional changes you're experiencing, so that your homeopathic approach can be tailored to you. Explore personalised menopause support
Do I need to see a homeopath for a prescription or can I self-prescribe?
Reading about different remedies can help you understand the different symptom patterns, but it isn't always easy to decide which remedy best fits your individual situation.
If you're experiencing several physical or emotional symptoms, or you're finding menopause difficult to manage on your own, a personalised consultation gives us time to look at the bigger picture together. Find out more about personalised menopause support
Here is what one client shared after receiving homeopathic support for menopausal symptoms:
"From the moment I started my journey with Naziana, my life has transformed in the most positive ways. Dealing with the challenges of menopause, I was plagued by anxiety, restless nights, IBS, hot flushes, and a general sense of unease. Naziana’s expertise in homeopathy has been nothing short of miraculous for me."
My approach to treating menopausal symptoms
In my work with women going through menopause, as well as prescribing the homeopathic remedy that best matches your menopausal symptoms, I also focus on caring for the liver and adrenal glands, which are important for hormone balancing.
My homeopathic consultation process
The first consultation is an assessment where we go through your symptoms in detail. I like to ask a lot of questions about the menopausal symptoms that you are experiencing.
We then have follow-up appointments every 4-6 weeks. These follow-on treatments are important to ensure gradual progress. In the follow-up appointments, we discuss any changes and how you are feeling. You can read more about what’s included in my Homeopathy for Menopause Treatment packages.
Could your gut be affecting your menopause symptoms?
Research suggests a link between the gut microbiome and hormone balance during perimenopause and menopause. When the gut isn't as healthy as it could be, it may affect how the body processes hormones. This may contribute to symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, poor sleep, anxiety and hot flushes.
For this reason, I also offer the GutMap GI Axis test. This at-home stool test provides detailed information about your gut microbiome. The benefit is that you don't have to guess what might help your gut. Your report provides personalised nutritional recommendations based on your own gut microbiome. This gives you a practical, individual starting point for supporting your gut health alongside your personalised homeopathic treatment.
If you'd like to learn more about the connection between gut health and menopause, you can read my article on Gut Microbiome, or get in touch to find out whether GutMap testing could be helpful for you.
