What is the difference between Homeopathy and Tissue Salts?

What is the difference between homeopathy and tissue salts?

What are Tissue Salts?

The Biochemical Tissue Salts, sometimes called Cell Salts were created by a German homeopath, Dr Schuessler.

Tissue Salts are micro-doses of the body’s 12 essential minerals. These minerals are important for the functioning and health of the body.

The cell salts:

  • rebalance the functioning of the body at the level of the cell.

  • are a group of 12 homeopathically prepared minerals and mineral salts.

  • The physical structure of our bodies boils down to these 12 major components

  • potency is always a 6X or 12X

  • 12 cell salts are Calc Fluor, Calc Phos, Calc Sulph, Ferr Phos, Kali Mur, Kali Phos, Kali Sulph, Mag Phos, Nat Mur, Nat Phos, Nat Sulph, Silica

  • are safe, so anyone can start using them without doing harm. Tissue salts can be taken alongside other medication. This makes them the perfect entry into homeopathy and home-prescribing.

Differences and Similarities between Tissue Salts and Homeopathy

These same 12 remedies are available in higher potencies, which is when we refer to them as homeopathic remedies rather than cell salts.

Cell salts address physical symptoms but not emotional symptoms. Homeopathy addresses both physical and emotional symptoms.
